Comfort is a sickness…
I’m glad to be uncomfortable
shit makes you strive for change
cuz when you live your life in comfort
you only grab what’s in your range.
see a nigga can get lazy
goin day to day to day
and when the shit in life gets crazy
it’s that comfort fuckin up the way.
i used to deal with issues
daily focused on my goals
but found myself in a situation
fucked up and gave over the controls
but now my heart’s not leading
my mind is callin all the shots
i’m the one writin this story
manipulating my own life’s plots
you see love can be such bullshit
mistaking comfort for some joy
but igniting this confusion is just a part of love’s sick ploy
see, when love decides it’s leaving
it packs comfort in its bags
and though my mind says move on, my stupid heart just lags
but then comes that sweet UN-comfort
you start to see shit clear
in comes your motivations
and you won’t shed not one more tear!
