the butt station.

For Narry, this is a necessity. No, it is not important to have sticky tape or paper clips even, but I need this little guy aka ‘The Butt Station’ for my desk. Just because.

I prefer the green one, and as you can see, his bootay is magnetic.

The Butt Station (yes, the name is ew) is available at various stores, all you need to do is? Google.

studio ve.

Interesting shelving by Israeli duo Shay Carmon and Ben Klinger – Studio Ve.

Most of these shelves will only have space for a small selection of your books, so it might be an ideal spot for your favorites, or the ones that you are currently reading.

Okay, I have to admit – I only posted these because of the little Spiderman. Did you see him? Scroll up.

“Ve” is the Hebrew word for “and”.

You might want to have a look at their other designs too, including the Toast-ER. Adding it to my wishlist.

Tee hee.

ashkahn.

Ashkahn Studio + Co have some of the funniest posters I have seen in a long time. I will put these on my walls any day. I would frame them if I have to.

The nature one is my favorite. Narry wants one.

Wishlist.

horsey.

Like the Flobots track “I can ride my bike with no handlebars, no handlebars…”

Maybe not with this bike, because you will end up being black and blue.

It does not matter, because I would love to have a ‘Horsey’ bicycle by Eungi Kim from Korea. ‘Horsey’ has been shortlisted for Design Boom’s ‘Seoul Cycle Design Competition 2010‘.

Please deliver my ‘Horsey’ to Oupa’s farm. The red sand dunes and purple water tanks will be your landmarks.

stupid little biscuit.

You stupid little biscuit! I really want a stupid little biscuit. Paccino’s is a coffee shop and has a lot to say.

They have very bright coffee cups with stories on it too.

Sometimes they do not really care what they say, which is why everyone loves them. If you want to see their flickr set – please do, preferably with a coffee in hand.

Look out for the sugar sachets, you might find an inspiring message or two – like: ‘Fiddle with during awkward chat’, ‘Brown Sugar for Snobs’, ‘Not you again’, ‘This sachet does not entitle you to start thinking you’re something special or anything.’

You know, stuff you want to hear every now and then.

unusable tableware.

Unusable Tableware by David Clarke. Umn, I do not think so – I can think of a few ways to use these.

Gimme a BEEG spoon!

C M Y… wait, what?

You do not have to be a designer to know what CMYK means. It is everywhere and if you can find a Diana Camera, a tshirt – well, it does not really matter what, but there will most likely be a CMYK version of it.

This clock is not quite CMYK, well sorta, but it was screaming CMY-something to me. Quite loud too.

One day I would like to have a white room and I would love to have a bright piece that will shock the white off the walls. Not sure why, but I guess it is just a case of “because I can”.

eating tree.

No we are not talking about the characters in “Where The Wild Things Are” who occasionally like to attack trees, we are talking about the eating tree for finger foods, by French company – Smarin.

The aloe on my balcony is not doing so well lately and I think we have grown apart over the years. I would really like to have a tree, a big – no, giant – eating tree. So that I can decorate it with strawberries and marshmallows.

“Just strawberries.” Pffft.

Lying on a ‘livingstone’, also by Smarin, sounds kinda good-right-about-now-too.

message of the day.

You already saw the photo of the day, now it is time for the message of the day.

Instead…
