have cake, will travel.

Me too, me too.

Celine Steen was born in Switzerland, but have been living in California since 1999. In 2005 she went vegan and began her blog ‘Have cake, will travel‘ in 2007 . Oh, happy day!

I saw a photo on Pinterest and now I am hooked, and even happier to know that most of these recipes are vegan.

Hungry yet? Want more? Have cake, will travel.

the burning house.

You have probably thought about it before, what would you take with you?

The Burning House is a website dedicated to exactly that. It is very interesting to see what different people consider to be important.

Now let me ask you the same question, what would you take with you?

john and fish.

As a little girl, I remember my dad’s bird book.
Yes, I thought we were ‘cool’, because nobody else had a bird book.

You do not have one, do you?
See? We are still ‘cool’.

John (勇士丸) is the elder brother (artist), Fish (小魚) is young sister (assistant). Together they are John&Fish from Tainan, Taiwan – but are currently living and working in Taipei city.

“We like bird photography very much, almost spent every weekend (since 2005~now) went around the island to capture their beautiful shapes, for those we have to thank our motherland-Taiwan for giving such beautiful creatures to us.”

Thank you John&Fish for sharing these beautiful photos.

P.S. For the fun of it, this one made me laugh. So cute.

back in the days.

Uh, this is making my heart beat 27 times faster. I am also feeling slightly depressed.

You know when you look at someone (like Jonathan Mannion) and you want to be them? You want to live their life – at least for a month or so? Yeah, that.

Merci backinthedays.fr

toy stories.

You have seen these Toy Stories by Aled Lewis all over the place.

Narry just had to like it, because it makes me laugh every time.

dance!

Wait, before you do anything else – click here.
You have to listen to Hello by Martin Solveig & Dragonette.

When the music starts, wait a bit.
When the clapping starts around 0:55 you should get ready, and at 1:10 – scroll! Yay!

Now, does that make you feel like dancing? Uh huh.
Remember, you are never too old too dance.

You can see the rest here. Thank you Big Picture!

disney portraits.

As a little Narry I loved Belle. Okay, I still do.

I have seen Beauty and The Beast more than 50 times and almost cried when I (finally) saw the Broadway show.

Thank you Annie Leibovitz for these lovely – and oh, so funcelebrity portraits. Oh, and you are the best for choosing Penelope as Belle.

Thank you for sharing Tanya Turi.

fulvio bonavia.

Take me there.

Those were the first 3 words that popped into my head when I saw Fulvio Bonavia‘s landscapes.

Deserted and some a bit eerie, but I would love to explore.

kristin-lee moolman.

There is something about Kristin-Lee‘s photos that I really love. Not quite sure what it is, but I find the desaturated colors somewhat calming. At the same time most of these have a fun (sometimes quirky) feel to it.

That must be it, the contrast between those 2 elements. What do you think?

Visit her website and look at the rest. There are quite a few boobies, which is why they did not make their way over here. Trying to keep Narrylikes ‘boob-free’ although you will most likely find a pair in the archives.

Thanks to Gina for sharing this lovely link on Twitter.
