My motivation for going to gym? Keri Hilson’s video for “Energy“.
Some people stick a picture of a beach babe onto their fridge to lose weight. I have an image of this body mentally engraved into my head.
Worrrk it.

Backstage. Nuff said.
The first sketches shot by Nathan Copan made me go “oooh”, in a big way. How special and spectacular (not a word I ever use) is this? Definitely a big wow, but you know what? One day.
You can see the rest of Nathan’s Ralph Lauren photography at Trendland. From the first sketches to the actual production and then to the runway.

Little rockstar, rocking some hot pink lips. “Cos it’s fashion.”
This time I am the little makeup rockstar. Funny how things work. Yesterday, Shrink sent me a link to a website about celebrity plastic surgery. The website has one of those galleries that come with an automatic play button. It was time to go home and I had to run, so I left the browser open and somehow throughout the night, the gallery decided to do its thing and it somehow managed to change to another gallery – automatically. Breathe. Long sentence.
When I got to the office this morning, I noticed that the gallery was now browsing somewhere in a fashion gallery. That is where I got the photo with all the girls and their pretty pink lips from!
What is meant to be is meant to be, huh?
Now you are probably wondering what is this Narry going on about? Well. Makeup. Some of you know, some of you do not know. Either way, I will just say that I got the ball rolling and it is rolling at quite a speed and today marks the day that things are finally happening.
Why? I stopped making excuses and stuck to my new favorite line: “If it is important enough to you, you will find a way. If it is not, you will find an excuse.”
It is important enough to me, I found the way and I am making it happen.
Yeah boi. I even have a name now, or at least I will be calling myself that from now on. Narry the little makeup rockstar (thanks to Mr Geere who called me that earlier).
Making it happen. Hello New York. Oh, how I love you.

I would swap Narry’s Hole (my apartment) for this one any day. Fresh, clean and clutter-free.
Until then I will slowly start by taking elements from this oh-so-gorgeous apartment and make Narry’s Hole look better.

Live Now.
“We are a growing collection of friends, powerfully pursuing the notion of ‘living now’. Communicating through artwork, literature, relationships, exhibitions and more. Engaging our participants to live conscious and happy lives!”

After my previous post I have made the decision – let’s hope it’s a conscious one – that I will “live with less”. I am already a mnmlist when it comes to buying stuff for myself. My mamas taught me that you only buy something when you need it. So I am a firm believer of “if you do not need it, then you do not buy it”. Probably why I spend most of my money on food. Ya havta eat ya know?
Thanks to Leo Babauta, Zen Habits and mnmlist – “less is the answer”.
Here are a few things I will start doing and in some cases – change the way I do it. If you want, you can add a few things to the list and let’s do this together – yay!
Here are a few things that you can do / do less.
“It starts with a decision: I want to be less busy. I don’t want to do this anymore.”
Daily musts (for myself).
Please note: I have quoted Leo a few times in this post. Read all his articles.

It almost feels strange to type more than what’s necessary, so I will just be quiet…
“Stop buying unnecessary things.
Toss half your stuff, learn contentedness.
Reduce half again.
List 4 essential things in your life,
stop doing non-essential things.
Do these essentials first each day, clear distractions
focus on each moment.
Let go of attachment to doing, having more.
Fall in love with less.”
