Writable is a clever coffee table that allows you to communicate in a different way.

If you are like me, you have quite a few reminders on your phone, a blackboard in the kitchen, and like to make lists. You need the Writable, right?

Yes please, a coffee table and a desk, please.

Split Personality is developed from from a view of two opposite personalities who – because of their differences – supplement each other and enables many different uses. The shape and the textile expression is developed in unity, and it is exactly in the meeting of textile and furniture that Split Personality comes into character.

The furniture is padded in lanes which could be used to create a customizable coloring on the back by allowing the lanes to be changed by the end user. The furniture is meant to be used in the middle of the room to allow both sides to be experienced and can thereby also function as a room divider.”

I like to call them candy chairs and yes, I would love to have a few. Hello David!

Wait, Coney Island Line? Yeah, that place with the rides. You know, you have seen it in the movies a few times and if you were lucky enough you might have even been there and screamed while on The Cyclone.

Uhuru has Coney Island furniture! The Cyclone Lounger has to be my favorite, but there are many pieces to choose from.

Boardwalk Console – The reclaimed wood surface of our console echoes the inlaid pattern of the original boardwalk, as seen from above. The play of scale however, from the miniature nail-heads to the thinly cut Ipe, changes the context of the original design and adds an element of surprise. The wood sits atop a blackened steel base. Can’t get enough!

Drop end table – The Parachute Jump, a historical landmark punctuating the panorama of Coney Island, influenced the design of this end table. Once part of the World’s Fair, the now defunct ride looms over the rest of the park. Uhuru captures its essence through mechanical connections on a steel base, crowned with a faceted Ipe top.
