There is something about this girl in the Kanye video. The colors, the way she moves.

Runaway is a full length film, and yup – Kanye did it again.  It is probably best if you watch it on YouTube. The bigger, the better.

Every scene is like a painting of some sorts, and the colors make me happy.

And then, there are the ballerinas. The black swans.

It scares me to know that Willow is only 9-years-old (soon to be 10). Especially when she says ‘all my ladies’, who are you calling ‘ladies’? Nine. Years. Old. She is young enough to be my child. Did you notice what I did just there? ‘Young enough’, nuh.

She probably has more confidence than all of us combined. Bless her.

Last year I discovered Matthias Heiderich. Do you remember his ‘Color Berlin‘ series? There is something about all the space in his photos. It has a clean and calm feeling, and then of course – the color.

Even though there is not much to look at, I cannot stop staring.

Quite different, huh?

There is not much that you can do with paint swatches, other than hold it against your wall and make the wrong decisions about which color you will cover your walls with. Yup, it is always too light and then you wish that these paint swatches were bigger.

After many, many years paint swatches finally have another purpose. A good one.

Johnny‘s still life photography first caught my eye when I saw these bottles. It reminded me of Mama’s bottle collection.

How beautiful are these colors? It has a bit of a dreamlike feel to it.

IKEA has done it again. Well, this time with some help from Forsman & Bodenfors.

“We wanted to ensure a connection between IKEA’s kitchen appliances and one of the best things you can do in a kitchen, some great baking. So the main attraction in the campaign became a 140 page coffee-table baking book presented in a very visually unique and spectacular way.”

Their inspiration? High fashion and japanese minimalism.
The result? A beautiful baking book that contains 30 classic swedish baking recipes.

“The recipes are presented as graphic still-life portraits on a warm and colourful stage. And when you turn the page you see the fantastic result.”







I really wanted to post all the photos, but that will be a little crazy. You will have to take a look for yourself.

rainbow hair.

Her hair has been haunting me for a while now. First spotted her beautiful rainbow, fishtail braid here and then in Free People‘s September catalog (worth looking at).

Today I stopped at the haircolor aisle. No, not the bottle blonde aisle, the make-your-hair-purple aisle. Very tempted. Maybe next month. Purple streaks, but the blue and green streaks look pretty too.

This might need some serious thought.
