Mr (Charles) Roger Hargreaves, the creator of the Mr Men and Little Miss series, which who have been part of popular culture for over 25 years. I have a book and a t-shirt. Need more.
Google went all the way to celebrate Mr Roger’s birthday and did not only dedicate the logo to him today, but they have 16 different logos. Fun!

During the weekend I went to one of the local Chinese supermarkets. Usually when I go to any store and need to get something specific, I walk straight to that aisle, get the product and leave.
Not at a Chinese supermarket, nuh uh. You have to start at the one end and work your way through to the other end. Then back again. Very important to repeat this process.
I was amazed at the beautiful tea sets. Even though the tea pot that was on display was broken, I would love to go back and buy a few of these. They are too beautiful not to share, and great as gifts. My mom has already placed an order for a set.

R150 = a little over $20 (for the entire 7 piece set).

Rice bowls and tea cups.
The most expensive thing on the shelf was $6 and a few cents.

Pretty little sake cups.
After a long time of browsing, reading labels and trying to figure out ‘what is inside’, I headed over to the snack aisle. Now for some reason they do not have any English words on these packs.
I saw a rather large (well-built) Asian man take a pack from the top shelf without hesitating. I took one too, I mean, he looked healthy, so it will be ‘safe’. Later when I got home I noticed that there is one English word on the packaging – ‘happy’. Suspicious? Nah, it was tasty. Still have no idea what I ate though.
One thing is for sure, I did not buy any of these snacks. Found in the ‘egg aisle’.

Tea time!

When it comes to all things miniature – Narrylikes. A lot.
Even food. Mini Oreos being a favorite. Too bad that you cannot find it here.
Forget about the mini Oreos for a second, how amazing are these miniature landscapes by Graem Whyte?
“Invite the mind to dream about the magic and mystery in the world around us–to honor the past, while envisioning a better future.”

How good-looking are these paper letters? Not to mention fun.
I think these are the new crossword puzzles.

You have seen these Toy Stories by Aled Lewis all over the place.
Narry just had to like it, because it makes me laugh every time.

A-MAAA-ZING! Beautifully done and WOW.
Please excuse the all caps, but once you hit the play button you will understand.
And to the voice-over lady, please be quiet. Merci.
“To mark World Water Day, on March 22nd Solidarités International and its agency BDDP Unlimited will roll out a campaign to build awareness of the scourge of undrinkable water.
Today, it is estimated that 3.6 million people, including 1.5 million children under the age of 5, die every year of diseases borne by undrinkable water, making it the world’s leading cause of death.”
“Little boxes on the hillside, little boxes made of ticky tacky…” Now it is stuck in your head. Oh, I am sorry.

How cute are these little houses by The Oak Leaves?
The description says “perfect accent for any shelf, bookcase, nook or cranny” .
My kind of thing, and now I want a few to put all over the place.

Thank you Danica for sharing these little miniatures, and yes – girls do like small things.
Are you still singing the song?

We love doodles. We love color.
We love funnies. We love quirky (and different).
Most of all, we love ljudbilden. A lot.
iPhone drawings, every single day.
There are already more than 200 different ones.
They are all different. Some are kinda ew, but most are just plain ol’ funny.
I had trouble picking favorites. You will have to take a look for yourself, it is worth it.
Really.
