What a clever idea! Urban Station is not a coffee shop or an office. However it is in Buenos Aires, and if you do not have an office space of your own – then you might as well take your laptop and work from here.

Even though it is not an office, it has projectors, LCD screens, printers and fax machines.

Even though it is not a coffee shop, you can get coffee, breakfast and super-fast WiFi (of course).



Urban Station has a very cute website too and I really, really, really do hope that there will be more of these.

Last week my friend (aka my wedding planner in China) discovered my Hello Kitty wedding dress “to keep in your closet – just in case”. This week she found the flowers.

On Sunday I took my friend to the airport. She arrived in Shanghai on Monday and on Tuesday she found something that – according to her – is an essential item for my closet.

Her words (translated): “I saw a wedding dress yesterday and I thought that it might be something you might like. You know, to keep in your closet – just in case.”

There is a wedding album too. Too precious.

Weird? No it is not. These are things that real friends do.

I am always talking about my Oupa*. Why? Probably because we get along so great. We are very similar and have inside jokes, so we will laugh about things and nobody will know what we are talking about.

He likes to draw and leave his mark wherever he goes. He lives on a farm (in case you did not know this already) and after my grandma passed away he spray painted the water tanks purple. He then decided to draw faces onto it.

They sent eggs from the farm. Yes, the eggs have faces. Yup, there is a horse too.

Not sure if I want to eat it, because these are precious eggs.

He will be 88 years old in December and he recently started to fill his very first Moleskine – with art, of course. It is for me, who else?

He is my man.

*Oupa is Afrikaans for Grandpa.

He might seem a little crazy at first, but then he says something worth listening to.

Chairs. Bright, colorful and very interesting-looking chairs. Caught my eye. Noticed the rest of The Salad Shop only after ooh-ing and aah-ing over the chairs.



The Salad Shop is a fast-food restaurant in Singapore. Salads? Fast food? Yup.

You have to love their slogan too – “for herbivores, carnivores, and everything else in-between”.

Antonello Fusè gives life to old broken chairs. Not very practical and your clothes might end up being poked in weird places, but Narrylikes these anyway.

Not that I started cooking or anything, but this is one handy kitchen tool. Just think of it, you will not have to wash the floor after cooking anymore.

Perfect. Perfect color too.
