Alice lost her top during the shoot, so I had to masaic her boobies, but just look at the purple hair, pink lips and blue eye combo. This is Alice Rausch and the photos are by Jamie Nelson.

My favorite section in Sharon Montrose‘ portfolio. My frand, Mitch, and I usually talk about dogs and we both would love to have a puppy, but unfortunately that cannot happen right now. Soon, but not right now.
But my goodness, just look at these faces. It will not be hard to spot the favorites.

Would you like to see more? Meet Uma.

“If they have no bread, let them eat cake.”
That’s what they say and that is what I believe is true, especially when it comes to this rainbow cake.
Thanks to my dear friend, Ciera – who plans on baking her own.

Can I have a drumroll please? Or wait, can I have a Travis Barker snare instead? Mixed with a little bit of Frank Sinatra’s ‘Cheek to Cheek‘.
“Heaven… I’m in heaven, and my heart beats so that I can hardly speaaak…”

I think that should do it? Or maybe not, but it’s close enough to introduce you to my childrens. Yes, I always wanted to be mother, but I did not quite realize that my first set of childrens would look like these.
Please note: “childrens” – instead of children, because there are just too many. They have names like Pinch O’ Peach, Blushbaby, Chatterbox, Honeylove and the naughty one is called Oversexed, but I love her too.

Narry needs the States. Yes, there are many other countries to explore. I will get to those soon enough, but this year I need a lil bit of Amurrr-kah (America, and no I do not know anyone – including myself – who pronounces it like that).
For a while now I have had a Portland State of Mind.
Portland is the “the city of roses” and a while ago I heard all about Powell’s City of Books, the biggest bookstore – like ever. Biggest? Yes, it fills an entire city block.
There are rivers and bridges, bicycles and streetcars, restaurants with names like Olé Olé and Cha! Cha! Cha! – oh, and in case you did not know, Portland is the home of The Waffle Window.

Yes, it is all about food and cherry blossoms. Portland has cherry blossoms too. I know, right? Can it get any better? Yes it actually can, because Seattle is close enough. Three hours ‘close enough’.

You will remember La Linea, if not – then you are probably a late 90′s kid.
This video by Cube Creative reminded me of grumpy lil’ La Linea. Not quite the same, but still. It also includes a happy song and a View-Master.
Okay, time for a grumpy La Linea.
No, I am not saying that Narry “likes” this song, but I cannot get it out of my head. It has been stuck since 11.30 this morning.
The music video is gross, so it might be best if you only listen to the song. You might even think the song is gross, in that case – I do apologize.
Now altogether now! “I thought you were the haaaandyyy-maaan…”
Please do not tell anyone else about this. Thank you.

I am going to start making “gimme gimme gimme” lists, because I realized every time I write something down on my blackboard – I get it within a month (depends how much I want it).
Why “gimme gimme gimme”? Well, I believe if you say something 3 times, you mean it. If you want something, why not ask? Plus, I watched Disney’s Pinocchio and it reminded me what happens when you wish upon a star.
Yes, this is a large order and an expensive one, but here we go:
Now if you will excuse me, it is time to hunt down some big, bright and sparkly stars.

The idea is simple: turn off phones during dinner.
I would love to add a few other occasions when I would like you to turn your phone off. How frustrating is it when you are trying to talk to someone, but they are updating their Twitter and Facebook statuses at the same time? Rude. Yes, you know who you are and every time you do it, I would love to leave the room. Yes, if you want me to leave the room, but are too scared to ask, pick up the phone (useful tip).
Thank you Ingrid Zweifel for this great idea and revolution – my phone is off, for you.

Phonekerchief – this actually blocks the signal. Too precious.

Social stamp. Stamp it everywhere and spread the word this way. Nice, nice.

‘5 Pieces of Flair‘ stickers and buttons. Stick ‘em errrywhere!
While we are talking about phones and when (not) to use it. Please take a few minutes to sign Oprah’s No Phone Zone pledge. Yes, I know – Oprah, again. Seriously though, take the pledge and make a promise to stop texting and talking on your phone while driving. You car needs to be a no phone zone. Thank you.
Narry likes documentaries and 180º South (Conquerers of the Useless) will be added to the list.
“The film follows adventurer Jeff Johnson as he retraces the epic 1968 journey of his heroes Yvon Chouinard and Doug Tompkins to Patagonia. Along the way he gets shipwrecked off Easter Island, surfs the longest wave of his life and prepares himself for a rare ascent of Cerro Corcovado. Jeff’s life turns when he meets up in a rainy hut with Chouinard and Tompkins who, once driven purely by a love of climbing and surfing, now value above all the experience of raw nature and have come to Patagonia to help use their influence to help protect it.”
Thanks to Marenna at Lemon Drop.
